The United Nations Secretary General Mr Ban Ki-moon says he and the United Nations “do not want to interfere in the internal politics of the Maldives”. The SG made these remarks at the meeting held with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Dunya Maumoon at the United Nations Headquarters yesterday.
Foreign Secretary Dr Ali Naseer Mohamed, and Permanent Representative of Maldives to the UN, Mr Ahmed Sareer participated in the meeting.
