1 February 2016, New York: The Maldives has today assumed the Chairmanship of the Asia-Pacific Group (APG).
In its capacity as the Chairmanship of the Asia Pacific Group, the Maldives will be steering the work of the Group and coordinating on matters of importance to the Group in the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Chairmanship of the group rotates on a monthly basis among its members according to alphabetical order.
