New Ambassador of Maldives, Dr. Ali Naseer Mohamed, presents Credentials to the Governor General of Canada

13 September 2017, The new Ambassador of the Maldives to Canada, His Excellency Dr Ali Naseer Mohamed, has presented his Letter of Credence to the Governor General of Canada, His Excellency the Right Honourable Mr David Johnston, during a ceremony that was held today in Quebec, Canada. The President of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Mr Yameen Abdul Gayoom, appointed Dr Mohamed as the new non-resident Ambassador of the Maldives to Canada on 9 July 2017. Ambassador Mohamed is the Permanent Representative of Maldives to the United Nations as well as the Ambassador of Maldives to the United States.
