Minister Zenysha holds meeting with the Director of Programme Division of the UNICEF

19 September 2017, New York – Minister of Gender and Family, Ms. Zenysha Shaheed Zaki met with Mr. Ted Chaiban, Director of Programme Division of the UNICEF. The Director commended the remarkable work done by the Gender Ministry towards ending violence against children, and noted particularly close cooperation between the country office and government of Maldives. Minister Zenysha thanked UNICEF for their continuous support and expressed hope that the existing cooperation would be further strengthened. The meeting was held in New York at the margins of the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly ENDS
