20 September 2016, New York: Foreign Minister Dr. Asim met with His Highness Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayed Al Nahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of UAE today at the sidelines of the 71st Session of the UNGA in New York. Foreign Minister Asim thanked the Government of UAE for its strong partnership and cooperation with the Maldives.
The Foreign Ministers exchanged views on strengthening the closer links between the two countries particularly in the fields of trade, investment and tourism.
